.. Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the proceedings in Mu.Mu.E5/32163/2016, dated 03.10.2017, on the file of the first respondent herein, and to quash the

same, and to direct the first respondent to renew the license No.43/2010 dated 27.09.2010, issued to the petitioner to run the business in the name of "Angel Pattasu Kadai" at Door No.4/213-B, in Survey No.233/4A2 in E.Muthulingapuram Village, Sattur Taluk and Virudhunagar District, for further periods as may be prescribed under the Excise Rules, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in spite of her letter to the petitioner seeking for instructions, the petitioner had not responded.

2. On the other hand, the learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, produced the death certificate of the petitioner, which indicates that the petitioner had died as early as on 31.05.2021.

3. Since the petitioner is no more, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as abated. There shall be no order as to costs.
