Contemnor/Respondent Prayer: This contempt petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of the Courts Act, 1971 praying to punish the Contemnor / Respondent for committing contempt of Court for his wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 21.01.2016 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.1097 of 2016.

Prayer in CRL OP(MD). 1097/ 2016 :

To direct the respondents to register a case on the basis of the Petitioners complaint dated 30.12.2015 and pass such further or other orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed for punishing the respondent for having not obeyed the order of this Court dated 21.01.2015 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.1097 of 2016.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that notice sent to the Inspector of Police has been returned with an endorsement "person was on leave".

3. However, it is represented by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that after enquiry, the complaint preferred by the petitioner was closed and RCS was also served on the petitioner on 21.05.2016.

4. In view of the above submission, this Contempt Petition is closed. It is needless to state that since RCS has already been

served on the petitioner, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law. No costs.
