O R D E R

The petitioner asserts that he purchased 0.03.43 ares in survey No. 72/3 and that the extent was correctly reflected in earlier patta No.48. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that an error was committed while issuing online patta dated 05.11.2024 inasmuch as the extent has been wrongly mentioned as 1.17 ares. After submitting a representation in this regard to the respondents 1 to 3, he states that the present Writ Petition was filed because the said representation did not elicit a response.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. On instructions, he submits that the matter is under consideration by the Revenue Divisional Officer. He also states that the representation would be considered and disposed of within a period of 2/4

twelve (12) weeks.

3. In view of the above submissions, without making any observations on the merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's request for rectification of patta within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner. No costs.
