By this Writ Petition, the petitioner assails an order dated 26.08.2025 of the first respondent. The principal grievance of the petitioner is that she had created a private pathway through her land and that it is not intended to be a public pathway for use by others. According to learned counsel, the relevant revenue records were not duly appreciated while issuing the impugned order.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that the issues raised by the petitioner involve disputed questions of fact. He also points out that the petitioner has an alternative remedy by way of revision before the District Revenue Officer.

3. In view of the availability of an alternative remedy by way of revision, I am not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition, since it selfevidently involves disputed questions of fact. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by granting leave to the petitioner to file a revision 2/4

before the District Revenue Officer. If such revision is received within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the District Revenue Officer shall receive and dispose of the same on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and all others who would be affected by such proceedings. The District Revenue Officer shall dispose of such revision within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt thereof. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
