ORDER
Heard the learned Counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Trichy City Municipal Corporation. Notice issued to the private respondents has been returned with an endorsement 'insufficient address'. The learned Standing Counsel informs the Court that the petitioner has been licensed to collect usual charges from the vendors using the petition mentioned market. It is valid up to 31.03.2025. The petitioner's grievance is that the private respondents are interfering with the petitioner's right to collect the usual charges. He would alleged that they are indulging in illegal collection. I do not want to go into the said controversy or give a finding behind their back. I grant liberty to the writ petitioner to lodge a complaint before the second respondent. The second respondent will look into the matter and if he finds the allegations of the petitioner to be true, he will take remedial action by taking the assistance of the jurisdictional police. The jurisdictional 2/4
police are mandate to extend the assistance if sought for by the second respondent. With this liberty to the writ petitioner and direction to the second respondent as well as the jurisdictional police, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
