This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to change the classification of the petitioner's land from Anathinam to Nanjai in S.F.No.212 of the Chitanavasal Village, Illupur Taluk, Pudukottai District and issue the patta for the aforesaid land in favour of Petitioner.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it is informed by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3, that the Commissioner of Land Administration is the competent authority to consider the grievance of the petitioner.

3. In view of the same, this writ petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
