ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of passport. The first respondent received an adverse report indicating involvement of the petitioner in Crime No.510 of 2014 on the file of the second respondent. It is now submitted by the learned Government Advocate for R2 that the said criminal case has since been closed as 'action dropped' on 15.10.2015 itself.

3. There is no other impediment. The first respondent is directed to issue passport to the petitioner subject to fulfillment of other usual formalities.

4. The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
