ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. Issuance of notice to the respondents 4 and 5 is dispensed with. 2.It is admitted that Survey No.55/3, Periyanayagi Chatthiram, Srirangam Taluk is a water body (Theppakulam and Sathura Kenaru). The petitioner alleges that these water bodies have been encroached. 3.We direct the third respondent to conduct survey after issuing notice to the concerned individuals / encroachers. If survey exercise reveals existence of encroachment, the same shall be removed by adopting due process of law. The entire process shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
