Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.482 of BNSS PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 442 of 2024 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A1 to A3, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under sections 316(1), 318(3), 318(4), 321 and 61(2) of BNS Act, 2023 in Crime No.442 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons in the guise of investing money in a business collected a total amount of Rs.13,00,000/- from the 1/3

defacto complainant and later, cheated him. When the husband of the defacto complainant demanded the money, the petitioners abused him in filthy language and assaulted the defacto complainant.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the entire amount that was paid by the defacto complainant is borne out by Bank entries and documents, it will suffice if a direction is given to the respondent Police to resort the procedure adumerate under Section 35 of BNSS Act. The petitioners are expected to attend the enquiry whenever called for by the respondent Police and the respondent Police shall proceed further with the investigation. The investigation shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.In view of the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
