ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pay interest at the rate of 12% per annum for the period of delay from the petitioner's date of retirement 31.07.2023 to till the date of reimbursement 25.08.2025 of amount paid towards the petitioner's terminal and pension benefits, namely, EPF Employee's Contribution Gratuity, Encashment of Earned / Sick Leaves and other monetary benefits etc., within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court without affecting the petitioner's right to claim balance amounts towards 2/5

those benefits.

2. Considering the admitted fact that there has been a delay in payment and based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.09.2025, the respondents are directed to disburse the interest amount as per the relevant statutory provisions, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
