ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence under Sections 7(a) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 as amended by the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional 1/3
Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that since the investigation of the case is almost over, there is no proposal to arrest the petitioner.
3. In view of the said submission, the petitioner is directed to appear before the trial Court and execute a bond under Section 88 Cr.P.C., for his appearance as required, whenever he called for.
