Contemnor Suo Motu Contempt is initiated against Mr.P.Senguttuarasan, Advocate, for Contempt of Court, under Section 15 of the Contempt of Courts Act, read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India. For Contemnor : Mr.G.R.Swaminathan : Mr.K.Chellapandian, Additional Advocate General for assisting the Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by NOOTY.RAMAMOHANA RAO.J.) Heard Mr.G.R.Swaminathan, learned Counsel appearing for the learned Advocate against whom, show cause notice is drawn for initiation of Contempt of Court action.

We have also solicited the assistance of Mr.K.Chellapandian, learned Additional Advocate General.

3. After hearing the matter, we have considered it appropriate to accept the sincere regret expressed by Mr.P.Senguttuarasan, learned Advocate, [Enrollment No.276/1993], for whatever had happened in the Court, which triggered the action.

4. We strongly feel that in the best interest of the Institution, it is wholly appropriate to maintain a cordial relationship between the Bar and the Bench. Keeping this principle in mind, it is appropriate as advised by the learned Additional Advocate General, to accept the sincere regret, tendered by the learned Advocate and close the issue. Accordingly, we accept the sincere regret expressed and with the hope that there will not be any occasion in the future for recurrence of any such unpleasant event, we drop all further proceedings in the matter. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

We place on record our sincere gratitude to the learned Additional Advocate General for his wise counsel and that of the effort put in by Mr.G.R.Swaminathan, learned Counsel appearing for the respondent-Advocate. We also appreciate the attitude adopted by the learned Advocate during the course of hearing of this matter on more than one occasion by us.

6. Accordingly, this Suo-Motu Contempt Petition stands closed as above.
