After submitting representation dated 22.07.2025 seeking subdivision and transfer of patta, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. The petitioner states that her father-in-law was issued with a 'Natham Patta' by the government. Later, such patta was transferred to the petitioner's husband. Upon his death, the petitioner asserts a claim thereto. The learned counsel further states that Patta No.307 has been wrongly issued only in the names of the petitioner's brother-in-law Ramasamy and the brother-in-law Selvan's wife Vanaja.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of on merits.

4. Therefore, without making any observations on the merits, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's request and dispose of the same by a speaking order after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, 2/4

Ramasamy and Vanaja, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
