2. The petitioner's grandfather passed away. The petitioner seeks issuance of death certificate.

3. The first respondent is the competent authority. The first respondent is directed to enquire into the petitioner's application and dispose it of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
