ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to respondents 1 to 3 to lay and complete the road work under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in Nilaviyal Paathai (Geological Pathway), comprised in S.F. Nos. 425/3 and 425/4, in Devipattinam Village, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, on the basis of his representation dated 21.07.2025.

2. Mr.D.Sasikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. Ms.P.B.Ahamed Yasmin Parveen, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the third respondent. Mr.S.Prakash, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the fourth respondent. Since no adverse order is going to be passed as against the respondents 5 and 6, notice to them is disposed with. 2/5

3. According to the petitioner, the official respondents had proposed to lay a Thar road in his village. However, the respondents 5 and 6 objected to the same and filed W.P.(MD) Nos.19378 of 2022 and 5004 of 2023, in which they obtained an interim order. Subsequently, the said writ petitions were dismissed. Even thereafter, the official respondents did not take any steps to lay the road. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation to the official respondents. Since no action was taken on the said representation, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of the present writ petition.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.07.2025 and pass appropriate orders on its merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there is no subsisting order from the civil court, the official respondents shall forthwith proceed with the laying of the road.
