Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give notional promotion in the cadre of Regional Transport officer on the date of the promotion of petitioners immediate junior namely Thiru M. Rajasekaran mentioned as serial no.3 in the G.O.ms.No.1594 Home (Transport II) Department dated 7.8.1989 with all other consequential benefits including pension, fixation of pay, with arrears of amount etc. based on the order dated 31.8.1990 in Special Leave to Appeal (civil) No.9642 of 1990 to the petitioner herein by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 09.09.2015.
