ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

2.The petitioner is none other than the mother of the third respondent. The petitioner seeks both maintenance as well as cancellation of the deed executed by her in favour of the third respondent. The petition was given to the Maintenance Tribunal as early as on 06.09.2021. The statute contemplates disposal of the complaints within two months. The second respondent is therefore directed to dispose of the petition mentioned application on merits and in accordance with law and after notice to the third respondent, within a period five weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. 2/4
