ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Conductor working in the respondent Corporation seeking a Mandamus to prevent the respondent Transport Corporation from illegally shifting or changing his work allocation based upon his representation, dated 17.10.2023.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, just because the petitioner is an Office Bearer of a particular trade union, he has been asked to get down from a particular route bus and he has been allotted a different route and therefore, he has sent a representation on 17.10.2023. The representation given by him clearly indicates that the petitioner insists that he would drive the bus running in a particular route alone. Changing of a route for a driver would not amount to victimization or change of service conditions. Therefore, the petitioner does not have any legal right to insist upon the respondent Corporation to allot him a particular bus route. 2/4

3. In view of the above said facts, there are no merits in the writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. 07.11.2023 NCC :
