Petition has been filed under Section 482 of CR.P.C praying to direct the 1st respondent police to complete the investigation and fila a final report in Cr. JUDGMENT

The petitioner has come forward with this Contempt petition for the disobedience of the order dated 09.10.2015 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.16323 of 2015.

2.This Court by order dated 09.10.2015 directed the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.40 of 2015 and file a final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that since the case is registered under Sections 147, 294(b), 341, 323 IPC r/w Section 3(1)(r)3(s), 3(2)(v)(a) SC / ST Act, the final report has been made ready and the same has already been placed before the District SC / ST Committee, Pudukkottai, for getting approval. However, the approval is yet to be received. Hence, the respondent is not in a position to file a final report. He https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

would further submit that the respondent has not committed any disobedience of the order dated 09.10.2015 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.16323 of 2015.

4.Today the respondent / Contemnor is present and filed a counter affidavit to that effect.

5.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), I am of the view that there is no disobedience of the order passed by this Court. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is dismissed.
