Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to upgrade the petitioner to the rank of Grade-I Police Constable, Head Constable, Special Sub Inspector of Police on par with his batch mate by considering the proposal of the 2nd respondent vide the proceedings Rc.No.190567/NGB.III(2)/2012 dt.23.08.2014 and further directing the 1st respondent to give the Sub-Inspector of Police with effect from 18.02.2005 on which date the petitioner was accelerated promotion with monetary benefits on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 03.08.2014.
