O R D E R

This Court had already passed an order dated 11.07.2025 directing the respondents to collect the temple tax from the petitioner and his son and to permit them to participate in the forthcoming temple festival. However, it is submitted that during the celebration of the Aadi festival, the petitioner was prevented from paying the temple tax, and his name was not included in the invitation. Hence, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. This Court directed the respondents/contemnors to file an undertaking affidavit stating that hereafter they will not restrain the petitioner from entering the temple or from paying the temple tax, and that they will not prevent the petitioner from entering the temple at any time. Accepting the said undertaking, this Court is closing the contempt petition. Further, if the petitioner or his family members are prevented from paying the temple tax or entering the temple in future, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court.
