Prayer in WP(MD). 21243/ 2015 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to settle retirement benefits of the petitioner including Gratuity, Leave Salary, dearness allowance arrears on his monthly pension payable for 19 months together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of his retirement to till the date of settlement within the time that may be stipulated by this Honble Court and further directing the respondents to settle the interest at the rate of 18% per annum for the belated payment of Provident fund, the Commuted value of pension and Social Security Scheme arrears amount within the time that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER

Alleging that the order of this Court, dated 30.11.2015 made in W.P.(MD).No.21243 of 2015, has not been complied with by the respondent, the petitioner has come up with this Contempt Petition.

2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned

counsel for the respondent submitted that the entire dues would be paid, with 6% interest, the first installment commencing from January, 2016, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.Recording the said undertaking, the Contempt Petition is closed.
