direct the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's application which filed to cancel the Patta in No.9988 which wrongly issued to an extent of 1 hectare 78 ares, i.e., 4 acre 39 cents instead to an extent of 3 acre 11 1/2 cents of undivided share of sixth respondent which is pending before the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.12514/2022/A2 and consequently direct the second respondent to issue joint patta to and in favour of the petitioner and his wife for the lands measuring to an extent of 3 acre 11 1/2 cents of undivided share in S.F.Nos.S.F.1852/3, S.F.1853 and S.F.1854/2 situated at Vadamadurai Village, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

3. The first respondent is directed to consider the petition mentioned representation and pass final order on merits and in 2/4

accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent will put on notice all the interested parties including the private respondents herein before passing final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the first respondent to pass order one way or the other.

4. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
