: Respondent PRAYER:Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act praying to punish the respondent/contemnor herein for his deliberately and willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 30.10.2015 in W.P.(MD)No.19875 of 2015 on the file of this Court amounting to contempt of Court under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.

Prayer in WP(MD). 19875/ 2015 :

Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove all the encroachments made in the Alangudi to Thirukostiyur road particularly in place called Kandaramanickam Vilakku Salai and Thallakavur Village, Keeranivayal group in S.F.No. 58/3.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The Tahsildar, in his report, stated that the encroachments have all been removed on 06 September, 2017. In order to verify the said fact, we have directed the petitioner to be present at 10.30 a.m., on 11 September, 2017, so as to enable the Tahsildar to show him the encroachments removed. petitioner failed to turn up and as such, the Tahsildar was constrained to return.

2. In view of the report submitted by the Tahsildar, the Contempt Petition is closed.
