The writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to rectify the revenue records in respect of the property in Old S.No.365/1 - New T.S.No.38, Ward H, Block 30, Bhagavathsingh Street and Old S.No. 365/2 - New T.S.No.9, Ward G, Block 32, Bharathi Nagar 4th street at Paramakudi Town from 'Anadheenam and Government Poromboke Land' to patta Land and subsequently, the property in Survey Nos.158/1, 158/2, 158/3, 158/4, 158/5, 158/6, 158/7, 158/8, 158/9 and 158/10 at Vengattankurichi 2/6
Village, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District in the revenue records of SLR and UDR based on the petitioner's registered partition deed of the year 1905, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 28.09.2024.

The subject property in S.Nos. 158/1, 158/2, 158/3, 158/4, 158/5, 158/6, 158/7, 158/8, 158/9 and 158/10 and another property in S.No.365/1 and 365/2 at Vengattankurichi Village, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District originally belonged to the petitioner's grandfather, namely, Subbaiyanaiyudu. While so, the petitioner submitted an application to the respondents 1 and 2 to rectify the wrong entries in SLR and UDR in respect of the subject properties and to reverse the entry in favour of the petitioner and her family members based on the registered partition deed of the year 1905. As no action was taken by the respondents, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner was taken on file and notice of enquiry, dated 20.11.2024, fixing the date of enquiry as 03.01.2025, was in process and would be shortly served to the petitioner and other interested 3/6
persons. He therefore submitted that appropriate orders may be passed as per the circular of Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai, dated 17.07.2023.
4. As the respondents have already initiated proceedings on the petitioner's representation, I am of the view that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 28.09.2024, within the time line specified in the Circular, dated 17.07.2023 of the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai.
