The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the contemnor for disobeying the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD)No.4806 of 2020 dated 05.04.2023.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the contemnor would submit that in pursuance of the direction of this Court, survey was made and report was also served on the parties.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the contemnor would submit that the present petitioner is the fifth respondent in the original petition and at the instance of one Ganesan, this Court has passed an order dated 05.04.2023 directing the contemnor/third respondent to carry out the survey and demarcation on or before 30.04.2023 following due process of law and after giving notice to all persons interested and that since the said direction has already been complied with, nothing survives for further adjudication.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the contemnor, the Contempt Petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the report of the Surveyor, if so advised.
