..Respondents Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for the willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 19.05.2016 and made in W.M.P.(MD)No.7463 of 2016 in W.P.(MD)No.9403 of 2016. Prayer in WP(MD). 9403/ 2016 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order passed by the 5th respondent in his E21013/VOCPT/CISF/DOC/2016/1951 dated 16.05.2016 and the order No.F42013/CISF/VOCP T(T)Accts/Bank/2016/517, dated 18.05.2016 passed by the 6th respondent and quash the same and to direct the respondents to retain the petitioner as HEAD CONSTABLE at Tuticorin, VOCPT, till the retirement.

Heard Mr.M.MD.Ibrahim Ali, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.K.Laxman, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

2.This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for their willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 19.05.2016 made in W.M.P.(MD)No.7463 of 2016 in W.P.(MD) No.9403 of 2016, on the ground that the respondents did not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

reinstate the petitioner in service. It is evident on a reading of the aforesaid order, that the same is only to restrain the respondents from taking any steps pursuant to that impugned order passed by the fifth respondent and it does not provide for any direction to reinstate the petitioner in service. Hence, no act of contempt has been made out against the respondents. That apart the aforesaid interim order has been vacated by this Court today in W.M.P.(MD)No.9788 of 2016 and the petition for interim injunction W.M.P.(MD)No.7463 of 2016 has been dismissed. 3.In the aforesaid circumstances, this Contempt petition is disposed of.
