3.Mr.Arumugam, The Administrator, Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation, Pension Fund Trust, Pallavan Salai, Chennai-02. : Contemnor/Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971, to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors/respondents and punish them for the willful disobedience of the order of this court in W.P(MD)No.22331 of 2015, dated 21.01.2016.

Prayer in WP(MD)No.22331 of 2015:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay all the terminal benefits payable to the petitioner including Salary arrears in terms of settlement under Section 12(3) of the Industrial Disputes Act dated 13.04.2015, Gratuity, the Commuted Value of Pension, Leave Salary with enhanced dearness allowance at the rate of 100% in terms of G.O.(Ms)No.55 Transport (D) Department dated 04.06.2014 and dearness allowance arrears on monthly pension together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of his retirement to till the date of payment within the time that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for willfully disobeying the orders of this court made in W.P(MD)Nos.22331 of 2015, dated 21.01.2016. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that except interest on commutation, other benefits have been paid to the petitioner.

3.In view of the above submission, the Contempt Petition is closed with a direction to the 3rd respondent to pay interest on commutation, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the order copy. In the event of non-compliance, liberty to the petitioner to revive the contempt.
