The petitioner herein is the Sole Accused in Crime No.196 of 2013, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Tamil University Police Station, Thanjavur. He approached this Court by way of this application seeking relief to quash the above said F.I.R as against him as illegal.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) made a submission, as of now after completing investigation charge sheet has been filed in S.C.No.225 of 2014, pending before the Principal Sub-ordinate Judge Court, Thanjavur.

3.The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) is recorded. Thereby, the prayer sought by the petitioner is become infructuous. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
