ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by an employee of the respondent Transport Corporation seeking a mandamus to disburse the Provident Fund amount of Rs.1,00,000/- to the petitioner for performing his daughter's marriage.

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner has submitted the statutory form on 02.08.2024, for disbursement of Provident Fund amount for performing his daughter's marriage to be held on 22.08.2024. Since, the amount has not been disbursed, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent authorities are directed to release the eligible Provident Fund amount to the writ petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
