This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent/District Registrar to register the Form VII submitted by the petitioner, dated 10.11.2017 by considering his representation, dated 10.11.2017 together with the reminder thereto dated 20.11.2017.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel for the second respondent would submit that the second respondent is the Secretary of the petitioner's institution and subsequently, Form VII was accepted and elections were held twice and as such, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. 2/4

4. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
