PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus direct the first respondent to dispose the representation of the petitioner dated 02.05.2025 and consequentially direct the fifth respondent to grant individual patta to the petitioner's land remaining extent of 238 sq meter in S.No.280/2A1A situated at Nadupatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichirappalli District.

The petitioner states that she acquired 4800 sq.ft of land in survey No.280/2A1A under a registered sale deed dated 29.10.1998 bearing document No.2599/1998. After further stating that only an extent of 2238.89 sq.ft. from and out of the said 4800 sq.ft. was acquired under an award dated 03.12.2012, the petitioner seeks a separate patta in respect of the remaining extent of 2561.11 sq.ft.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2025 would be considered and disposed of on merits.

3. The petitioner has placed on record patta No.1478 which was issued to 27 persons including the petitioner. Consequently, before taking a decision on the petitioner's representation, it is necessary to put the other joint pattathars on notice.

4. Subject to the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation on merits after providing a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and all the joint pattathars. This exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
