...Contemnors /Respondents Prayer: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act 1971, pleased to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors / respondents and punish the respondents for willful deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.21527 of 2015, dated 28.01.2016. Prayer in WP(MD). 21527/ 2015 :
Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to extend the benefit of pay revision with an increase at the rate of 5.5% of basic pay and grade pay from 1.9.2013 to 31.5.2015 in terms of Section 12(3) Settlement dated 13.04.2015 and to pay all the retirement benefits payable to the petitioner including Provident Fund, Gratuity, the Commuted Value of Pension, Leave Salary together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of his retirement to till the date of settlement within the time that may stipulated by this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Honble Court and further directing the Respondents to pay interest at the rate of 18% per annum for the belated payment of the Cholan Employees Security Scheme arrears within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The contempt petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors / respondents and punish the respondents for willful deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.21527 of 2015, dated 28.01.2016.
2. Heard Mr.A.Rahul, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned counsel for the first and second respondents, Mr.A.P.Muthupandian, learned counsel for the third respondent and perused the records.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that except interest on commutation, the other benefits have been paid to the petitioner.
4. In the light of the above submission, this contempt petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to pay the interest amount on commuted value of pension, if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case of non-compliance, this petitioner can revive the contempt petition. No costs.
