Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners case for sanction of incentive increment for B.Ed., and M.A., Degree in the light of G.O.Ms.No.42 and 1032, Education Department dated 10.01.1969 and 22.06.1971 respectively within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Honble Court.

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents/contemnors for their wanton and willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.3756 of 2016, dated 23.02.2016.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government placing on record the order passed by the Special Tahsildar, Adi Dravidar Welfare Department, Tenkasi, dated 08.06.2016, would submit that the petitioner's representation has been disposed of, as per the orders of this Court, dated 23.02.2016.

3. Recording the said submission, this Contempt Petition is closed.
