ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of patta in respect of the petition mentioned lands. The petitioner makes this claim on the strength of sale deeds. The petitioner would further argue that the sale deed was executed by the legal heirs of the pattadhars. Be that as it may, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry into the petitioner's application and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent shall issue notice to the interested parties before passing final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is for the second respondent to pass order one way or the other.

3.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
