Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to pass necessary orders based on the recommendation proceedings issued by the 2nd Respondent in Na.ka.NO. R1/52479/2012 dated 30.10.2012 by providing compensation under the Chief Minister Relief Fund to the death of Petitioner s son Rajkapur Bharane Maharaja on 09.04.2011 within the time limit stipulated by this HOnourable Court. has handed over a cheque for a sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) to the petitioner. However, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the Revised Scheme, the petitioner is entitled for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) and sought necessary direction to that effect. 2.
In the above-stated circumstances, this Court deems it fit that the petitioner shall make a necessary application to the District Collector, Ramanathapuram District, Ramanathapuram, seeking necessary relief under the Revised Scheme, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the District Collector, Ramanathapuram District, is directed to consider the case of the petitioner sympathetically and see that there is any possibility of considering the petitioner case under the Revised Scheme and pass appropriate orders, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt application from the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of this order for proper follow-up by the second respondent.

With the above direction, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
