This Writ Petition is directed against the respondents 1 to 7 to prevent the illegal conversion of agricultural lands situated in S.No. 61/1, 61/2, and 63/1F1, Paththai village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelvei District into housing plots through unapproved layout by the respondent 2/4

8 to 10 without proper approval under the Tamil Nadu Change of Land Use (from Agriculture to Non-Agriculture Purposes in Non planning Areas) Rules 2017.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was reported dead and the petition may be closed.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
