...Contemnors/ Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act 1971, to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience to the order passed by this Court, in W.P. (MD) No.7977 of 2016, dated 25.04.2016.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.03.2016 in the light of the judgment of the Honble Supreme Court in Ajaykumar Choudhary Vs Union of India others dated 16.02.2015 and also in the light of the letter issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu through its is personal and Administrative Reforms (N)Departments vide letter No.13519/N/2015 - 1 dated 23.07.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame. This Court, by an earlier order dated 25.04.2016, in W.P.(MD). No.7977 of 2016 had directed the first respondent to consider the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation of the petitioner, dated 02.03.2016 in the light of the Judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Ajay Kumar Choudhary Vs.Union of India, reported in (2015) 3 SCC 291 and also in the light of the letter issued by the Principal Secretary to Government of Tamil Nadu in letter No.13519/N/2015-1, dated 23.07.2015. Since the respondents herein have not complied with the same, the petitioner has come up with this contempt petition.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the order passed in the Writ petition has been complied with by the respondents.

3.Recording the above submission, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
