After submitting a representation dated 29.05.2025 to remove the 'Aanadeenam' entry in the revenue records and to instead enter the names of the petitioner and his brother, Yogaraj, in such records in relation to survey No.216/1, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.S.R.A.Ramachandran, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the fourth respondent. They point out that the power to reclassify the revenue records is vested in the Commissioner of Land Administration.
