Prayer in WP(MD). 4740/ 2016 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd Respondent to disburse the Education Loan to the petitioners son G.Chinnadurai for a sum of Rs.2,25,000/- (Two Lakhs Twnty Five Thousand only). For Petitioner : Mr.P.Krishnasamy For Respondent : Mr.Pala.Ramasamy

ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.4740 of 2016, dated 25.04.2016. By the aforesaid order, this Court held that the petitioner has to file an affidavit of undertaking before this Court to the effect that in the event of sanctioning the loan, the petitioner/student will follow the guidelines with regard to the repayment schedule, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. However, the petitioner has not filed an affidavit of undertaking before this Court or before the respondent bank.

2.In view of the above, there is no case made out for proceeding contempt against the respondent and hence, the contempt petition stands dismissed. No costs.
