ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, directing the petitioner to be released on bail in C.C.No.156 of 2022 on the file of I Additional District Judge for NDPS Act, Madurai, in Crime No.365 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police.

2. The petitioner is the accused for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w.20(b)(ii)(C), 29(1) and 25 of NDPS Act dated 28.07.2021 and charge sheet was filed by the respondent Plice in C.C.No.156 of 2022 before the I Additional Special Court for Trial of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act Cases, Madurai.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that trial is going to be completed before the concerned Court within two months.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the trial Court to dispose the case on mertis within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
