PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, challenging the auction notice issued by the 4th respondent in Lr.No.Ko24/2017/A.E.(Tili) dated 11.12.2017 as for as the Udayarpatti Kulam Tank in T.S.Ward No.11, Block 18, in T.S.No.1305 (Old R.S.No.1) situated at Manimoorteeswaram Village, Tirunelveli Taluk, Tirunelveli District is concerned and further direct the respondents to allot the lease for the same till the year 2019-2020 to the petitioner based on the G.O.Ms.No.332 dated 17.11.1993 of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (FDS IV) Department.

ORDER

The challenge in the writ petition is to the auction notice issued by the respondents and the consequential prayer is to extend the lease period to the petitioner till 2019-20.

2. Since the prayer sought for in this writ petition itself was limited to 2019-20, the prayer sought for in this writ petition had become infructuous requiring no adjudication further in this writ petition. 2/4

3. The Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous, accordingly. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
