PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to conduct survey and fix boundaries in respect of Survey No.518/2A, Patta No.3222 extent of 1 acre, 64 cents, situated at Kosavapatti, T.Panchjampatti Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District as per document No.4508/2023, dated 29.12.2023 along with sketch by considering the petitioner's representation and required fees paid on 08.11.2024 within time stipulated fixed by this Court. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to conduct survey and fix boundaries in respect of Survey No.518/2A, Patta No.3222 to an extent of 1 acre, 64 1/4

cents, situated at Kosavapatti, T.Panchjampatti Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. The petitioner was issued with patta in Patta No.3222 for the subject lands. The petitioner, with a view to determine and fix the boundaries of his land, applied to the second respondent for survey of his lands and also paid the requisite fees for the same. But as no action was taken, the petitioner submitted a detailed representation on 08.11.2024. As no action was taken even on the petitioner's representation, the petitioner filed the above Writ Petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions, submitted that survey is to be conducted on 26.11.2024. The learned Additional Government Pleader also submitted that notice was already served to all the interested persons and therefore reasonable time may be granted to issue survey certificate and sketch.

4. In view of the fact that survey is to be conducted on 26.11.2024, the respondents are directed to issue survey certificate along with sketch within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petitin is disposed of. No costs.
