The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the first respondent for issuance of passport to the writ petitioner.

2. It is brought to the notice of this Court that there are two cases registered by the second respondent as against the writ petitioner.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent submits that in both the cases, writ petitioner has paid the fine and the same has been closed.

4. In view of the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the application of the writ petitioner and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
