PRAYER :- To direct the 2nd to 4th respondent police to not to harass the petitioner and his family members in the guise of an enquiry. For Petitioner : Mr. M.Dinesh Hari Sudarsan, Advocate.

ORDER

The petitioner has sought for a direction to the second respondent to not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that two complaints were separately given by the fifth respondent to the respondents 3 and 4; that the complaint given to the respondent No.3/Thillainagar Police Station was closed ; and that the complaint given to the fourth respondent is pending enquiry. 2/5

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even on the admission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the fourth respondent is repeatedly harassing the petitioner and hence suitable direction may be issued.

4. It is needless to say that the respondents shall not harass the petitioner in any manner. However, since enquiry is pending on the complaint given by the fifth respondent against the petitioner, the petitioner may appear on summons. The fifth respondent shall conduct the enquiry on the complaint and communicate the result of the enquiry to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. In view of the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
