O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by a Special Grade Tradesman of the respondent Transport Corporation, who had attained superannuation on 30.06.2022.

2. According to the petitioner, at the time of his retirement, his surrender leave benefits were not conferred upon him and he has sent a representation to the respondents on 14.07.2023, however, there is no response from the respondents.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

4. In view of the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to disburse the surrender leave benefits along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from 01.07.2022 till the date of realization within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
