ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Selection Grade Driver who attained superannuation on 30.06.2022.

2. It is the contention o fthe writ petitioner that he has not been granted surrender leave encashment even after his retirement. The petitioner has sent a representation on 05.08.2023 seeking to settle the surrender leave salary.

3. In view of the above said facts, the 2nd respondent herein is directed to settle the eligible surrender leave salary to the writ petitioner within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order along with 6% interest from the date of retirement till the date of realization.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
