ORDER

The petitioner, who is the defacto complainant seeks early disposal of the trial in S.C.No.93 of 2024 on the file of the learned Principal District and Session Judge, Sivagangai.

2. The Hon'ble Supreme Court has held that no particular case can be given special treatment and directions for fixing time limit for completion of the trial shall not be ordinarily issued. Hence, direction for fixing a date for completion of trial cannot be issued. However, since according to the petitioner there are constant threats from certain persons of dire consequences if the petitioner deposed against the accused in the case, the learned Principal District and Session Judge, Sivagangai may consider the expeditious disposal of the trial in S.C.No. 93 of 2024.

3. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
