ORDER

The petitioner is the president of Viruppatchi-Perumalkulam Farmers Association and he has filed this writ petition for a mandamus directing the respondents to release the water in Parappalaru Dam to Perumalkulam Tank, Viruppatchi Village, Ottanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District, based on the proceedings of the Secretary to Government, PWD, Chennai, dated 17.10.2007, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.12.2017.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, based on the instructions from the third respondent, submits that depending upon the availability of water and depending upon the instructions which are provided then and there, sharing of the water is being made by the Department. In the year 2017, the respondents have provided water to the Perumalkulam Tank.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
