Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1, 2 and 4 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 3 and 5.

3. The petitioner challenges the decision taken in the peace committee meeting on 30.11.2022.
4. It has been held time and again that decision taken in a Peace Committee Meeting is not having any statutory value or legal consequence. Therefore, it is not amenable to challenge under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. However, I make it clear that it would not be open to the official respondents herein or the police authorities to enforce the decision taken in the impugned peace committee meeting.
5. Liberty is given to the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition for opening the temple in question. With this observation and liberty, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
